(Supposed to have been posted last night, but Blogger was down)

The webserver that is the front end to everything seems to be down. Along with my primary nameserver. Fuck. And, of course, I'm at home, so I can't fix it. Guess I'll do it first thing tomorrow. Jesus. That's why there is a secondary, although it doesn't appear to be doing anything right now. Piece of shit.

But we got our internet connection fully jacked in at home. We've got both cable and DSL, running together, load balanced, and all. So, retarded speeds are being attained. :)

And Friday Five is busted right now. :)

What the hell is wrong with me? I actually like that new Eminem song "Without Me." I'm fairly embarrassed to say that. It's got a catchy tune, his lyrics are somewhat amusing - but I'd never buy his CDs. I give him props because he says what he wants and does it the way he wants to. Yeah, some of his lyrics are offensive, but sometimes they're comments on topics that the general public just doesn't want to address. You know?

I keep hearing good things about this Donnie Darko - I may have to go rent it.

I'm not that excited about the new SW prequels. Yeah, they're cool, but they're just missing the whole Greek mythology thing. Maybe because they're prequels as opposed to sequels. I don't know. I sort of like them, but not like when I waited in 2 hour lines to see the original when I was 6, 9, ans 12. And no, Jess, it doesn't bug me. If anyone ever sees American Graffiti again, think of this: the 4 main male characters are all aspects/personalities of George Lucas when he was growing up. Part geek, part gearhead, writer, and someone who is afraid to go "out in the world." Lots of metaphors and stuff. Those are the types of movies I like - the ones that make you think and wonder. The Fisher King is a lot like that, as is K-PAX. Things aren't what they appear to be on the surface. I also like movies that are very orginal in their storylines: Fight Club, Memento, Dark City, and Mulholland Drive. That last one is a doozy - you don't even need drugs to get tripped out on that one, and there's a way hot lesbian scene in it, so that's pretty solid. It's an awesome movie once it's figured out - I won't tell you the answer, but when I walked out of the theater, I was saying WTF??? I did some research and saw it again and understood almost everything. Go see it - it's weird.

80s was the era of John Hughes, I swear. So many good movies. I can't believe how much crap there is out there - Jason X? Who the hell would pay $9 (US) to go see that piece of shit? Unreal. My friend Darrin has a production company and is hoping to make a film in the near future. I told him - "Why not? Look ar Rollerball!" (which, by the way, has the dubious honor of being the shortest film ever to be released at theaters. So if other no talent ass clowns can make films, he should be able to make one, right???

Yes, yarr, whee, and stuff.

It's Thursday, we just had a mad thunderstorm (fuckin wikked), and I'm eating a cookie.

Oh, yeah. A fuckin' good movie (not my favorite, but really damn good) is Donnie Darko. Watch the trailer here. Requires QuickTime 5. I got the DVD, really fucked up and good. If you want a fucked up bent, grab the shrooms. :)

Back to crippling computers by asking too much of them.

We can only pick one fave movie? Crap. Probably American Graffiti. I know it's old school, but it says a lot about growing up and leaving things behind/new beginnings. Also, the music rocks in it. I think I was reincarnated from a 50s greaser or something, if that shit really happens...

I slept in till 8.30 this morning. Niiice. :)

All-time fave movie? Nothing comes to mind. And the worst thing about that question... Once I've answered, and I read somebody else's answer, I hit myself and go, "Doh, I forgot about that!"

So, no answer. :)

Our bathroom is beautiful. Minus the cabinet that we're gonna rip out and replace. Aside from that, all good. Frankly, I just like my new place. :)

Last night I met a girl named this. I don't do anything with my eyebrows. They're not that big anyway. I can't draw cartoons. But maybe I'll scan something funny to send in for my profile.

I like Heather's English creation - un-unibrow. That's funny. I saw a guy at the movies the other night with a deviant eyebrow thing going on. It was one huge friggin eyebrow, and about 2 inches thick.

Oh - I also took pics of the "Men" and "Women" signs on the restroom doors. That way, I figured if Jess wanted to put our profiles under the appropriate heading or something... I'll have them all ready by Friday.

I find that shaving mine is good. Cuz then I can use it to get the gf to shave hers. :) And yeah, it doesn't have to be bald. A good trim, all is good. I find it really funny when it's shaped. This one chick had an A shaved into it (her name started with A). I laughed hard. Bad timing, but amusing. :) I also pluck the brows, yarr. Toes? Uh, no. Anywhere else? Nothing really springs to mind. Nostril/ear hair, anybody? *grins*

Long distance relationships do suck ass. Too much effort for me. Mebbe I'm just lazy like that.

Wax my sack? *falls to the ground screaming* Jesus. No, thanks. Shaving works just fine... I did learn the hard way to not wear flannel boxers and go for a bike ride. I was walking like a gimp for a couple of days after that. Trimming is good, shaving is nicer, doing nothing is... Uh. I dunno. If it's a jungle, it's not fun. Especially if you get to floss your teeth with it. Ungh.

I'll answer my own question first, I guess. Yes, I shave. Porn star styles, aww yeah.

But, uh. Shaving ain't trimming. :) A mohawk ain't the same.

And Jess... C'mon. I didn't say anything. :)

*smirks

Serious question: how many women shave? And, frankly, how many men do? And I ain't talking about the usual shaving, I'm talking about the nether regions. Fess up. I already know a few... :)

Pubes? Lesson number one: shave. :) And I don't use a puffy-thing. Not unless I ran out of soap, and have to bust out the backup shower gel. Favorite colognes/perfumes? Hrm. I can be caught wearing Fahrenheit by Christian Dior, Pi by Givenchy or Boss by Hugo Boss. On women? Anything vanilla. *drools* Anything that isn't overpowering. Gotta be a hint, not a smash upside the head. Hate people who overdo shit like that. Favorite smells in general? Hrm. Bike grease. The smell of freshly cut grass after a light summer rain. The smell of Italy (no, I can't actually describe that). The air in your room after an eight hour sex marathon. :)

Jennn - You go to the museum yet? Lotsa pretty pictoors...

I'm not sure why Ja Rule uses that voice all the time. His stuff is OK, but if you want some serious hardcore, checkout stuff by his older brother, Ja Law.

I use one of those poofy things. I get it all sudsy and rub it on my groin area. Then I look down and wonder, "is that what Bob Barker's pubes look like?"

Fireworks that have just been burnt up smell the best. Hands down.
